GearValue does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Your hardware inventory, valuations, and settings are saved locally on your device and never leave it.
GearValue ("we", "us") is an iOS application that helps you estimate the current value of PC hardware you own. This policy explains what happens to information when you use the app.
All data you create — builds, gear items, purchase details, notes — is stored locally in the app's sandbox on your device. It is not uploaded to any server. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it. Backups you export are controlled entirely by you.
The app downloads a public hardware price catalog (model names, launch prices, and estimated market values) from our servers at apppf.creativenorth.xyz. These requests contain no personal information and are not associated with you. No account, identifier, advertising ID, or usage analytics is sent.
We do not collect names, email addresses, locations, identifiers, usage data, contacts, photos, or any other personal information. GearValue qualifies as "Data Not Collected" under App Store privacy labeling.
GearValue is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from any user, including children.
Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our side. You retain full control of your data on your device, including export and deletion.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new revision date.
